Please notice the two-tone banana pattern in the photo above. If you would like to have this added to your new bait, please mention that upon order.
I make my wood'en baits out of pine, so they are very light yet quite cast able. The baits have a solid through shaft that the hooks are directly attached to.
With the jointed baits, I have created something that seems like it can't be turned down by any musky. The back half of the bait drops down in the water when you slow or stop your retreve. As soon as you start to crank the bait, the water gets thrown with ease. It's quite a site to see.
I have not backed down from putting custom patterns of any kind on these baits, from stripes and spots, to grooves and slots. I'll try anything once.
I've started putting a worm spiral type groove in them and they really help push the water to add extra vibration in the water. With the glide baits, I've been more than impressed with the simple design and the sluggish twitch, as these lures seem to struggle to get across the water. If your familiar with a lure that is like "walking the dog" this is a different style, yet has the same effect. The action is slightly different and the initial hit on the lure is as explosive as ever.
Please note the part numbers under each photo. They go from left to right with the lures.
